The Works and Hudbay’s CEO – a 12-year collaboration
Integrated mining company Hudbay united its operations under a new brand and identity in February 2012. “Hudbay” is set in bold, sans serif capitals, with a customized “U” that features a striking red element. The Works consulted extensively with Hudbay’s management on the rebrand, and ran focus groups to ensure the new identity remained legible and resonated with potential audiences. The Works also developed a stationery suite, a brand manual, a new website and a variety of launch materials, including newspaper and magazine ads, to help introduce the new Hudbay.
