After completing major technological upgrades to its banking infrastructure, Vancity was also looking to enhance the digital experience of its 2017 Annual Report. In accordance with Vancity’s modern transformation, The Works crafted an easily navigable microsite and an interactive PDF – which easily converts to printable hard copy – so that all types of stakeholders are accommodated. The colourful iconography and clean charts make the company’s numbers easy to digest, while stories and examples of company initiatives are evenly dispersed to showcase Vancity’s partnerships with local businesses and non-profits. The PDF and microsite allow readers to jump conveniently between the sections that interest them most, and a coordinated social media launch highlighted key success stories in order to grow traffic and increase engagement with the report.
