When cooking up your CSR vision, it doesn’t hurt to be far-sighted.
By 2030, Loblaw aims to reduce its carbon footprint by 30%
Mindful of its stakeholders and the larger world, Loblaw saw an opportunity in 2016 to refocus its commitment to more meaningful, long-term impacts. To better reflect this strategy, The Works designed Loblaw’s 2016 CSR Report with editorial storytelling in mind: active writing, a magazine-style layout and customer-centric photography. Streamlined targets and achievements highlight where Loblaw is making progress (and where it can improve), and each of the company’s subsidiaries is well represented – a reminder of the brand’s significant presence in communities across Canada. The report truly serves as a fitting expression of Loblaw’s purpose to “Live Life Well.”
