2016 CSR Report

A champion of Canadian trade, EDC wants to bring everyone along for the ride.

As part of its 2016 reporting process, EDC wanted to refocus organizational efforts around transparency. With support from The Works, the company executed a strategy of significant and meaningful engagement, particularly with its external stakeholders. The result was a more logical report structure, with content distributed across four major pillars. The report’s theme, “Doing Better Together,” is front and centre, clearly articulating EDC’s mission: to help Canadians operate responsibly while they conduct business abroad. An admirable level of disclosure (aligned with the GRI standards) positions EDC as an open entity, accountable to all Canadians.
